Hulu Plus is now saying that if we want to watch shows (that we are paying for with subscription dues) we have to disable ad blocker; same on Lifetime.com. Owned by Comcast, of course.

Can you go to AdBlock button -> Options -> Advanced options.

    1. Is the Hulu workaround enabled?
    2. Does disabling it and reloading the website fix the problem?

OK. I will try an make the instructions easier:

"Can you go to AdBlock button -> Options -> Advanced options.":

    1. Click the AdBlock button
    2. Click "Options"
    3. Check the option called "I'm an advanced user, show me advanced options"
    4. The page will refresh, and one of the new options that will show is
    the Hulu workaround.

    I now have a question:

Is the workaround enabled (the option is checked)?

OK, here is the glitch.  When I get to item 4, the page does not refresh and there are no options available to me.  I am using Safari on a Macbook Pro.  Should I use a different browser?

    Hi segnesa99,

Apologies for the late reply! Are you still experiencing this issue? If so, would you mind retrying Kieran's steps with the latest AdBlock version?

I, too, followed the instructions and the page did not refresh (step4). Using AdBlock version 2.10.2 on Mac OS X version 10.9.5 using Safari version 7.0.6. Is there a work-around for XFinity as I seem to get the commercials, too. A friend on PC has another adblocker and does not get commercials.

Hi, I know this is kind of rude but i wonder if any of you adblock support guys could help me with problem I posted about 4 days ago and never got any help for. It's titled "youtube takes an extra click to the previous page" listed in problems. I know like it may sound like a minor inconvenience but if you guys could just look at my problem it would be really nice for me.

Shaih, can you please attach a screenshot of what you see after clicking "I'm an advanced user, show me advanced options"?

Sorry it took a while to respond! Here are screen shots of trying to block ads on XFinity and the settings. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong but I don't know what it is. Once I block the ad, xfinity stops playing what I was trying to watch. If you can give step by step directions for blocking ads on xfinity, that would be amazing!

    Hi everyone,

Our sincere apologies for the super late reply! We're mostly volunteers or part-timers here at AdBlock support. We're still digging out from under a ton of backlogged requests, and yours must have fallen to the bottom of our queue.

In the meantime, our developers have squashed a bunch of bugs and released several updates. Please make sure that AdBlock is up-to-date (the current version is 2.35), and that you've installed all the latest updates for your browser.

If you are still experiencing this issue after updating everything, please reply to this discussion and we'll get back to you as quickly as possible!
