I just wanted to say thank you for creating AdBlock. As you can see from my email , and IP address, I am a NC Public School teacher. I often show video clips or TV show episodes for educational purposes and the ads made it nearly impossible to finish during a class period. A student suggested that I install AdBlock to my school laptop so that we could finish in one class period .I allowed the student to install it, so I was unaware of the cost until it popped up on the screen, but it is a valuable addition and it hekps me to maximaize class time when showing videos. So, I just wanted to thank you.

PS. your automated thank you letter was so sincere, it is what prompted me to write this one back to you. Thanks again. AdBlock is awesome!

    Hi Christel,

Thank you for writing! We love to know when our efforts have made a real difference in someone's life. It's pretty much why we do this. :)

Schools and other non-profit organizations are welcome to use AdBlock for free. You can just close the payment page when it appears. Or, you might suggest to your IT administrator to install AdBlock on the other computers at your school using group policy. That's an easy way in which other teachers can benefit as well.

Christel, I'll pass your note to the rest of our team. You'll make their day. Thanks again for writing!
