Hello, everybody! We all love AdBlock but it's not always possible to use it. It may be not so easy to block ads in mobile applications on tablets and phones or in desktop applications e. g. Skype.

I would like to show you a solution I come up to - AdFree DNS. You don't need to install ANY applications to use it. Just set this DNS server as your primary server on your router, PC, Mac or mobile device and you are good to go.

The server has a docker image. Blocked hosts are currently taken from here on a daily basis. If you know a better place to take black list from, let me know. Of course currently not all ads are blocked, but it's still better then nothing.

Feel free to fork, enhance and deploy the server or just check it out: 46.101.57.91.

P.S. The project is non-commercial and open-source and I hope this post won't be considered as spam.
