Should I use the honor-ware system for my project?

I like Adblock's honor-ware system, and I've wondered about using it for my own project. I'm interested in opinions from forum-users as well as learning more from the experience of the adblock developers or Michael if he has time to answer. My new product is Anxiety Boot Camp. It's a self-help program (audio recordings, printed lectures, worksheets) for people with anxiety problems. I had planned to sell the thing, but adwords has become just too expensive for that, largely as a result of scammers selling nutritional supplements and meditation retreats. I've thought about putting together a free version with four reminders to donate per audio lecture (20 min) and perhaps releasing videos with subtitles and ads on YouTube. In return for donations users could get a version without ads. Any thoughts?

    Hi Etan,

Our sincere apologies for the super late reply! We're mostly volunteers or part-timers here at AdBlock support. We're still digging out from under a ton of backlogged requests, and yours must have fallen to the bottom of our queue.

Have you found an answer to your question elsewhere, or would you still like our opinion?
