    Hi juvander,

Is the current Finnish filter list not maintained anymore?

As far as I can see, it is a dead list which is not maintained anymore. according to github history, last update is from Jun 18, 2014.

I'm maintaining now my list as soon as I or somebody else notifies from a need.

Be sure to let the people at the Adblock Plus forums know about it, so that it may be added to the "List of known Adblock Plus subscriptions."

Is your list an EasyList supplement (like the old list was) or will it work without EasyList enabled as well?

By the way, I've just tried adding your list to AdBlock, and it failed. When I went to http://adb.juvander.net/Finland_adb.txt it redirected me to http://iadb.azurewebsites.net/Finland_adb.txt with a "Bad Request" error.

    Hei

Works best with the EasyList, not all of the stuff that is in there is added into this list.

    Hei

Works now at least, there are sometimes delays with Azure but next trial it should work again.

    Hi Ilpo,

I am Tomáš, one of AdBlock developers. I'm maintaining official Easylist Czech and Slovak filter list and I want to give you some suggestions, because I think it'd be great to get your filter list as a default Finish filter list into AdBlock.

First, I think that you can have your filter list on GitHub (so you don't need to pay anything) and you can also point users to your issue tracker from your filter list.

Here is my filter list and here is my forum, where users can report ads, as an example.

I also think it'd be better to have some structure in your filter list, because when it becomes big, it will be hard to maintain it. You can also check your filter list and find redundant filters!

If you need some help, feel free to ask me.

    Best regards,
    Tomáš

    Hei
    Thanks for getting back.
Will need to think of these a bit. Reason for maintaining the list in Azure is that I have a web interface to edit it from anywhere, and it does not even cost anything :)
But yes, there are people now registering to the list, I can see the traffic increasing.

GitHub also has a Web interface for editing text files, FYI.

More and more users signing up for this list! Glad to see that there has been demand for it after Wiltteri list for Finland is no longer updated.
