I have made three donations in the past year, but every time I bring up my chrome browser AdBlock comes up asking me for another donation. I think it would be a good practice if AdBlock kept a record of donations already given by your customer's so we won't be asked to donate again, and again. I have tried to contact a real AdBlock support person, but it seems you are following Google's and facebook's support style by not providing any support, other than group discussion's which serve absolutely no purpose. Sincerely, Steven H Baker email: [email blocked]

    Hi Steven,

Sorry for the trouble! AdBlock normally should only display the donation page once, after you've installed it, no matter if you pay for it or not. If it keeps showing it every time you open Chrome, AdBlock's settings somehow keep getting reset. Here are two common reasons as to why this would happen:

    • Do you use a disk cleaning program, such as Ccleaner? If so, make sure that it doesn't remove localStorage files, or generally other browser-related files.
    • A corrupted Chrome profile can also cause this. You can try creating a new Chrome profile and see if it makes any difference.

As for the support, you are in fact in the right place to contact a real person! The public discussions allow other users to participate (or simply find a solution without having to ask again), but it is also possible to choose to make your discussion private when posting, so that only you and the AdBlock team have access to it.
