Slows Page Performance to a crawl

I have noticed recently on my machines running Chrome with AdBlock installed it is taking an average of 5mins to bring up a page. when i disable adblock the same the issue is resolved.

Any Recommendation as i like adblock

    At the moment, we have no solution, other than to whitelist the page that
    causes the problem.

    We have found that it is usually caused by a single website, which then
    affects every other website you go to. We think we know where the problem
    lies, and we're working to resolve it.
