Screen space
My ads are being blocked, but the screen where they were is blank. Anyone know how to widen my usable screen by recovering that space?

Hi,
Could you send me a link, where this situation occurs?
2 Posted by - - on 15 Aug, 2013 05:44 PM
In hotmail there is a sidebar which usually has ads in it. Since I installed AdBlock the ads are gone, but the blank ad sidebar is still there. My purpose for installing AdBlock was to have more screen space so that I don't have to scroll side-to-side in order to read my mail.
If you will tell me how to send a copy of an email screen, I'll send it to you.
Thanks,Derrell

Hi Derrell,
Currently we don't have support for this in our plugin.
I will mail this to our developer about that.
Thanks,
Tomáš

This seems like a filter list issue:
Does disabling all filter lists at AdBlock button > Options > Filter lists fix the problem?

Thanks, but that didn't solve the problem either.

Does it show the ads?

No, the ads used to show in a sidebar that was about 3 inches wide on the right side of my email page. Now the ads are gone and the sidebar is blank, but I can't widen my email page to get access to that space.

What I meant was when you've disabled everything at AdBlock Button > Options > Filter Lists, can you see the ads?
9 Posted by - - on 17 Aug, 2013 10:14 PM
Oh, no, I unchecked the Custom and Easy List filters and the ads are not visible.

OK then, what's in The big textbox at AdBlock button > Options > Customise?
11 Posted by - - on 18 Aug, 2013 02:41 PM
Under the Customize tab in the box is this:
blu174.mail.live.com##DIV[id="RightRailContainer"][class="t_sbgc"]

OK. Can you empty the box and disable all filter lists.
Then, can you re-enable them one-by-one until you find the culprit. You can then use the filter list contacts page to contact them.
