"AdBlock is buying Ads . . . for AdBlock!" - pushes menu off the bottom of the screen on netbook

If you must have this message, please make sure it will fit on a netbook. On my PC the advert pushes the actual menu items off the bottom of the screen.
Preferably I would like to dismiss this message. My problem with adverts isn't just the distraction or the use of my bandwidth - is the opt-out principle. So it seems doubly ironic that I can't opt out of an ad-blocker's advert for ad-blocking.
