Ad Block no blocking the Youtube Ads

Since two days my Ad block is not blocking any youtube vids anymore

    Yes, same here - YouTube ads no longer blocked since two days.

    How many ads are shown in the block counter? If you've hidden it, just click the AdBlock Button, and it will be listed at the top of the menu.

    Sorry for the mistake !!

    I am using Adblock safari extension and there is no counter of how many ads it blocks . But in Chrome on windows it shows a counter as you mentioned.
    Adblock still however blocks the banners and other ads but the YouTube video ads which appear before the actual vid starts seems to be not getting blocked as it used to be.

    I can confirm this as well. My counter actually shot up to 2583 blocks on one video earlier.

    Could it be that Google has found a workaround to adblock?

    We'll look into this. We believe it is because of a recent change
    Google made to YouTube to make videos load faster and put a loading
    bar at the top of the page.
