AdBlock download button grayed out

as the subject says, i tried to download adblock, and the free download button is grayed out and i can't press it to download.
all the other extensions in the page allows the download

    update.
    not all other extensions, but a few are grayed out also
    i also don't have any extensions installed

    Please update Chrome by going to about:chrome

    Also, make sure that the "Google Update" plug-in is enabled at
    about:plugins (it should have a link to disable it)
