Can you provide detailed steps on how to reproduce the problem?

Having installed Adblock 2 days ago, I now have 1774 blocked ads, and more keep coming all the time.
All I am trying to do is edit my Ocado grocery order, but every time I try to click on an item in the order, the display disappears behind a new panel telling me the name of an advertiser, with the option to remove the panel (x) or agree (to what?).or stop the advertiser trying again. Which should I choose?
I have restarted my computer, and have tried to remove Adblock and re-install it, but the Option 'Remove Adblock' is not present on my list of options. Nor are there any files on my PC containing the word Adblock other than .js files. What do I do?

Technical Chrome users: Go to chrome://extensions -> Developer Mode -> Inspect views: background page -> Console. Paste the contents here:

Can you please attach a screenshot with the bug clearly marked?

Many thanks for replying to my query.

I have now removed AdBlock from my computer, and re-installed it with the version from Google App shop.
I have tried it out again with Ocado, and I enclose a screenshot taken after a minute or so.
This shows 2 ads which have obliterated part of the screen with blank rectangles, and one which still has the advertisement visible.
I need to click on an x or a tick to remove each separately.

Is this what AdBlock is supposed to so? Agreed, it might already have blocked 52 ads completely, but why not all?

    Hi John,

The ads you're seeing are probably caused by malware on your computer. We recommend installing a malware removal tool. More info about your malware can be found here.

    Many thanks again.

You’re right – I’ve got the names ‘CinemaPlus 1.7c’ and ‘videos Media Player’ under some of the advertisements on my screen.
The next thing is to wade through al the instructions you sent on your link!

    Many thanks again.
