AdBlock not blocking YouTube ads anymore
Hi,
I'm on a Mac running Mountain Lion 10.8.5 and Chrome. I've been using Adblock since forever now and it's one of the extensions I can't live without. But, since like Saturday, YouTube ads are not blocked anymore. The extension is working fine for YouTube ads under Safari but not Chrome. I didn't mess with any options but I can tell you I have Adblock Custom Filters and EasyList enabled. I also tried Adblock Plus and same thing happens.. it does not work for YouTube ads.
I already tried removing and reinstalling the extension but that did not help.
Any ideas? I can't stand YouTube ads.

Hello dastinger,
That's quite strange actually as there's currently a bug in the Safari version that causes the Youtube Ads not to be blocked in Safari, but it should be working normal in Chrome. Are you sure you have the latest version of AdBlock & the latest version of Chrome?

Hello,
Today it is working again. I can't really tell you why because, again, I did nothing but I don't seem to be getting ads on YouTube anymore. I can assure you, though, that I had ads every time I watched a specific video (and others but did the testing with this one) on Chrome and did not have any ads watching the same video on Safari. Today I am not getting the ad on that video anymore. I'm not convinced that this is solved but I will keep on testing and, if I see ads again, I'll make sure I post here to let you know.
Anyway, just FYI:
AdBlock v2.6.8
Chrome v32.0.1659.2 dev

Glad to see that your issue is solved. Please note that Dev (Beta) Chrome Version may not be 100% compatible with AdBlock. Please feel free to tell us again if you discover any issues.
