Hulu Issues
Hi,
Since I have installed Chrome AdBlock hulu now shows black instead of ads. I have tried everything to remove these back boxes from covering the ads, pausing Adblock, putting hulu in in the filter and uninstalling the adblock extension. I am runng a Chromebook.
How can I remove the black boxes from covering the hulu ads.
Thank you!

Have you tried unblocking the ads?

I think so. How do you unblock the ads?

Click AdBlock Button > Don't run on pages on this domain.

You could try check last "advanced option" on Options page -> General and then the option with Hulu.com
Then reload Hulu and it should be fixed.
Hope this will help.

Unfortunately neither of the last 2 suggestions worked. I am still seeing
black boxes instead of ads. Any more suggestions?
Thanks,
Jeff

Hello Jeff,
Did you already try to reinstall AdBlock?

Hi,
Yes I have tried removing and reinstalling AdBlock, no success. Even with
AdBlock uninstalled the black ads are still there on hulu.
Thanks,
Jeff

Hi Jeff,
We don't have an instance of Chrome OS to test on, unfortunately. But did you follow these steps when you uninstalled?:
https://support.google.com/chromebook/answer/2589434?hl=en
I'm assuming you did, but just in case you actually disabled AdBlock, rather than uninstalling, I wanted to check.
Try uninstalling AdBlock, rebooting, and checking out Hulu. Does the problem persist?
I realize you mentioned the trouble started after installing AdBlock, but if the problem is persisting after you uninstall and reboot, it seems very unlikely that AdBlock is the problem. Did you install any other extensions, including any that might SEEM like they wouldn't have anything to do with Hulu?
At this point, I might try disabling/uninstalling every extension you've got (sorry), rebooting, and loading Hulu again. Sometimes they can conflict with each other.

click on the red hand and click DONT BLOCK ADS ON THIS DOMAINS

Yes, I uninstalled the extension properly and I have tried DON'T BLOCK ADS
ON THIS DOMAINS. None of it worked :-(
I think my only choice at this point is to reset Chome back to the factory
defaults.
Thanks everyone for trying.

If you are turning AdBlock off on the Hulu website, then it's probably not
AdBlock blocking it. What other extensions are installed at
chrome://extensions?
