absolutely every add is no longer being blocked

over the past month more and more adds have been getting through adblock and its now at the point where i have 14 ads in a youtube video and have had to intercept two instances where an add has automatically tried to download a virus. I click on a play button and it pops up, they are littering my pages just as much as before, if not worse. Why isn't adblock working anymore? Are the people making teh ads finding ways around them? If so, when will these problems be solved?

Sounds like this might be caused by malware on your computer. Can you please attach a screenshot with the ads that you're seeing?

not only that, but i also have like blank space where the options should be?
i dont want to go back to the sites that gave me the automatic downloads of programs like fake flash update and those that talk to you because i dont want to invite myself to more risk, but these are the everyday ones i encounter, along with multiple youtube adds.

Can you try reinstalling AdBlock and let us know if it makes any difference?

i was about to do this when i noticed a distinct lack of ads... did you update? i havent re uploaded but all problematic ads are gone

The more add.... Block.... software you download the more ADDs appear..
I wonder why???
It's getting out of hand.. To browse the web is no longer a pleasure..
The last 3 months it got worse!!
Its a constant battle to keep mall-ware and viruses away!!!
I got the same problem as all the respondents.

AdBlock gets updated automatically, and since we don't know which version you were using while experiencing the issue, it's hard to tell if that's what fixed it.
