Will not let me install AdBlock

I've been trying to install AdBlock onto my laptop for a few days now and it refuses to install. I clock the "Add to Chrome" button, it loads. I then press "Add" when the window pops up, then a few seconds later another window will come up saying "An error has occurred. NETWORK_FAILED" with a "RELOAD" and "CLOSE" button. Reloading just reloads the entire page so I have to try again.

It's not my internet connection as I have very reasonable internet, as does my school (This is the schools laptop). I've also found that this same error occurs whenever I try to install an extension now, when it used to be fine (I already have several). Please Help?

    Hi Blue,

This error can happen when installing any extensions in Chrome, and isn't an issue specifically with AdBlock. Google believes it's caused by malware. Please see this page for more details: [Chrome] NETWORK_FAILED on install.
