Youtube showing ads on laptop but not pc
My laptop recently has been letting youtube show ads, while my pc is ad free.
I have put together a list of whats each browser and computer is so maybe this will help
PC:
OS: Windows Vista
Browser: Chrome (up to date 45.0.2454.85 m)
Java: 1.8.0_31
Flash: built into chrome 18.0.0.232
No ads on youtube
Laptop:
OS: Windows 10
Browser: Chrome (up to date 45.0.2454.85 m)
Java: 1.8.0_60
Flash: built into chrome 18.0.0.232
Ads on youtube
Each browser is identical on the plugins page, only thing thats different is OS and java.
I just checked a third computer and heres its specs
PC 2:
OS: Windows 10
Browser: up to date (same as others)
java: 7 update 51
flash: built in to chrome so up to date and same as others.
No ads on youtube
All 3 have same browser, same extensions, same everything.
OS and java are only thing different
i hope this helps, also the skip button is missing from the laptop/

Hi zidar911,
This is caused by a bug introduced in a recent Chrome upgrade. The workaround is to disable the YouTube app in Chrome. Please see this Knowledge Base article for details.
