Ads not being blocked on YouTube

Today, I noticed that ads were no longer being blocked on YouTube, and that is not a good thing because there are plenty of youtubers that I watch but don't wanna give money to. I see that other people are posting the same issue, so I hope this apparent bug gets fixed soon.
