Yahoo smaller ads never blocked

Hello, I'm not really seeing this discussed but ad block plus with both firefox and chrome only blocks the large ads on yahoo. It doesn't appear to block the sponsored results (similar to how it blocks all adwords ads on google) I have noticed this as I reload PC's every day for customers and quite a few ask me to load ad block plus. The ones that use yahoo have noticed it only gets rid of the banner ads for yahoo. I have already unchecked the option to allow some non-obtrusive ads, I've added extra subscriptions.

It is consistent that the small ad listing after searching on yahoo (the adwords types of ads) do not go away and I think yahoo has found a way around it. Any ideas?

    This is AdBlock, which is not related to Adblock Plus (ABP). You can read more about why the names are so similar. You can reach ABP at adblockplus.org.
