Adblock is blocking our company's comment system.

Hi AdBlock team,

I work for a company that is building a comment system for news sites and blogs. We recently switched our servers and now all of our clients using adblock can no longer load our comment system. The site we are on right now (we're still alpha testing) has a ton of ads and so most of the readers use adblock. If you need a URL to troubleshoot what is blocking our comment system (The World Table) here is one:

Please let us know why our comment system is being blocked or if there is a way for us to be whitelisted. Our comment system features no ads or recommended content that would need to be blocked. Thanks.

    Hi Troy,

I'm not seeing a comment feature even with AdBlock paused. This may be a case of an overzealous filter list, however. We don't maintain the lists, but we can help you isolate the problem filter. That way, you can report it to the list maintainers so that it can be fixed for everyone who visits your site.

    1. Uncheck all the lists on the "FILTER LISTS" page, then reload the page where you’re seeing the problem. If the problem goes away, great, we know it's one of the lists that's causing it.
    2. Now re-enable the lists one by one, reloading the page where you’re seeing the problem after each list is enabled. (Make sure to wait for AdBlock to fetch the list before reloading the page.) Which list causes the problem to happen again?
    3. Please report this to the list maintainers. You can find the contact info in our Knowledge Base.

Please let us know if none of the filter lists appears to be causing this.

    Hi Rhana,

Thanks for taking the time to look into this. I'm curious why you couldn't load The World Table. What browser were you using? If all ad lockers are turned off and you're in Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Opera at least, our comment system should be loading just fine at the bottom.

Please take another look, as many of our users are using Adblock and are being affected by this sudden change. Let me know if I can help in any other way, as it isn't practical for us to direct each of our users to use a workaround (uncheck one Filter Lists) to use our comment system.

    Thanks

    Hi Troy,

I do see it now, with AdBlock paused. It took a couple of moments to load, which may be why I didn't see it the first time.

If this is a filter list issue, and 99.99% of the time it is, then the best solution is to tell the list maintainers. They will fix the list and release an update, which solves the problem for everyone. But first we need you to isolate the list that's causing this.

Here are those instructions again for reference:

    1. Leave AdBlock running, but disable all your filter lists on the "FILTER LISTS" page. Reload the page where you’re seeing the problem.
