Alleen in het Engels!

Please answer the following questions so that we can process your bug report, otherwise, we may have to ignore it.
Also, please put your name, or a screen name, and your email above so that we can contact you if needed.
If you don't want your report to be made public, check that box, too.

Can you provide detailed steps on how to reproduce the problem?

What should happen when you do the above steps
it should play youtube music without adds

What actually happened?
when the add blocker is on, youtube this does not down load. When I pause the add blocker (so that youtube can load) and then re apply it, it does not block the adds.

Do you have any other comments? If you can, can you please attach a screenshot of the bug?
It worked for a day after I choose the options and then followed your previous instruction (updates).

--- The questions below are optional but VERY helpful. ---

If unchecking all filter lists fixes the problem, which one filterlist must you check to cause the problem again after another restart?

Technical Chrome users: Go to chrome://extensions ->Developer Mode -> Inspect views: background page -> Console. Paste the contents here:

    Hi George,

Thanks for your report! An issue with the Malware Protection filter list caused YouTube to flake out.

The folks who maintain the list quickly corrected the problem and released an update. To get it, just refresh your filter lists:

    1. Click the AdBlock button and select Options.
    2. On the FILTER LISTS tab, click update now.

If this doesn't help, please let us know! Just reply to this email to reopen the discussion.

    Hi Rhana

yes thank you for your mail,
I did already do the filter update (and did it again)
but still the problem occurs (no video's on, just a white youtube page)
and video's only on when i pause the ad blocker (and then the ads are all in again! :(

With my wife's apple it all went well though
(we are paying customers of add block :)

    regards

    Hi George,

First, thank you for your support! Now, let's see what might still be going on with YouTube. I see from the debug information that accompanied your report that you have two custom filters for YouTube. One of them is a blacklist (blocking) filter that looks as if it might be preventing the YouTube player from working properly. Let's see what happens if you remove those.

    Method 1:
While on YouTube.com, click the AdBlock button and select Undo my blocks on this domain. Reload the page.

If that doesn't work or you don't see that option on the AdBlock menu, try this:
    Method 2:

    1. Click the AdBlock button and select Options. Click the CUSTOMIZE tab.
    2. Next to Manually edit your filters click Edit.
    3. Delete the lines containing the word "youtube."
    4. Click Save and reload your YouTube page.

Let us know if this doesn't help!

    Hi Rhana

    I tried both options,

method 1, okay the load in again, but i cannot hold the adds

method 2, under personalize i can find the edit field, but there are no lines in

Any chance if i give you access to my computer and you changing the settings? I tried everyting..

STrangely enough, (and happily enough) on my other apple laptop it does work normal and good again (the ad blocking on youtube).
But i dont always have that compu with me :(

    Hi George,

Ah, progress! OK, we know that removing those incorrect filters makes the videos play properly again. You don't need custom filters to block ads on YouTube. AdBlock normally does that on its own. So let's figure out why you're seeing ads there.

Can you please give us the address to a video where you're seeing ads?

HI Rhana thank you for your mail. This is an example of a youtube when I have ad block on: (then it doesn't show / play, the youtube is on black)

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZmIu5uWNyr0

when I then (because i have to) stop adblack (pause adblock) it does play like this (with the adds)

    Thanks, and succes,

    Hi George,

Hm. I'm not seeing ads on either of those videos. That suggests the issue might be related to your installation of AdBlock.

Can you please uninstall and reinstall AdBlock and see if that helps?

If it doesn't, then there could be a broken filter in one of your filter lists. We don't maintain the lists, but we can help you isolate the problem filter so you can report it to the list maintainers. Here's how:

    1. Uncheck all the lists on the "FILTER LISTS" page, then reload the page where you’re seeing the problem. If the problem goes away, great, we know it's one of the lists that's causing it.
    2. Now re-enable the lists one by one, reloading the page where you’re seeing the problem after each list is enabled. (Make sure to wait for AdBlock to fetch the list before reloading the page.) Which list causes the problem to happen again?
    3. If unchecking all the filter lists did not fix the problem, try the same thing with your browser extensions: Disable all of them, then re-enable the extensions one by one, reloading the problem page after each. Which extension causes the problem to happen again?

Let us know how it goes!
