Block ads on Comcast news clips does not work
English only!
Please answer the following questions so that we can process
your bug report, otherwise, we may have to ignore it.
Also, please put your name, or a screen name, and your email above
so that we can contact you if needed.
If you don't want your report to be made public, check that box,
too.
Can you provide detailed steps on how to reproduce the problem?
- Go to Comcast.net home page
- Select today’s news clips
- If Ad block is on, it blocks the entire clip, not just the
ad.
What should happen when you do the above
steps
A short pause and clip starts
What actually happened? clip freezes and runs nothing
Do you have any other comments? If you can, can you please attach a screenshot of the bug? I attempted to update AdBlock and got the following: Safari can’t install this extension--An error occurred while installing the extension “AdBlock”.
--- The questions below are optional but VERY helpful. ---
If unchecking all filter lists fixes the problem, which one
filterlist must you check to cause the problem again after another
restart?
I unchecked all filter lists and same problem exists Technical

Hi Jim,
If Safari is unable to update AdBlock, uninstalling and reinstalling AdBlock usually solves the problem.
If you've reinstalled AdBlock and it's still happening, however, it probably means Safari is hanging on to an installation file that should be deleted when you uninstall AdBlock. Please follow the instructions in this Knowledge Base article to uninstall AdBlock in a way that Safari can't ignore: AdBlock is constantly being uninstalled or reset in Safari
Please let us know if you're still having trouble viewing Comcast news clips after you reinstall AdBlock.
