I've always blocked unnecessary non-academic fluff on SparkNotes because it's very distracting. I bought a new laptop, installed Windows 10, but now when I block anything on SparkNotes, it goes away for about 3-4 seconds, then just comes back. How can I get it to block again?

    Hi lschneider,

If you still have access to your previous computer, you could simply copy over the custom rules you have created.

To do that, click the AdBlock button > Options > Customize, then Edit next to "Manually edit your filters". Copy the entire contents of the large text box, and save them in a file (e.g. Notepad text file).

You can then transfer that file to your new computer, for example by email or on a USB drive, and copy the contents of the file into the same place in your custom filters on the new installation of AdBlock.

Both of your computers should now block the same content.

Let us know how it goes!
