What should happen when you do the above
steps
the adds shouldn't come up on twitch.tv when starting a stream. it
works on my windows computer but not on OS X i do use safari, would
it be more effective on chrome? thats what i use on my windows
computer What actually happened?
i start the stream and no ads are blocked

If unchecking all filter lists fixes the problem, which one filterlist must you check to cause the problem again after another restart?

Hi Matthew,
A limitation in Safari prevents us from blocking ads in Flash videos and games, unless they're on YouTube.com. We're currently working on a new version that should have better support for this type of content, but in the meantime, we recommend watching videos in Chrome instead.
