hey there,

I have purchased Adblock for chrome. I have the Mac 12 (or at least thats what its specs say). A site I often frequent is Zero Hedge. bringing the site up is fine, but drilling into one of the articles posted and it takes anywhere from 20 seconds to a full minute for the article to appear. No one else is experiencing this problem - except one other guy I noticed - so I don't think its a problem with Zero Hedge. I downloaded and installed Chrome and adblock, but, its still the same. Don't know what else I can do.

Does pausing AdBlock at about:extensions fix this?

nope. and about the only thing i am doing is getting a headache. hate this. there is a tiny folder at the bottom when i drill down on Zero Hedge's article. It says "resolving host". i don't know. every other website i access, no problem. just Zero Hedge.

Ok posting again. Nope did not work pausing in extensions. getting headache. no other website is giving me problems except for Zero Hedge. and its not ZH since I am the only one having problems with it. there is a tiny folder on bottom of screen when i drill into ZH article. it says "resolving host" and it moves when i place cursor on it. thats it.

If you've disabled AdBlock and the page is still taking a while to load (and with ads because AdBlock isn't running) it is not a problem with AdBlock. I would suspect a different extension or a bad connection to ZH's server.

i appreciate your help. here's the weird thing. i just walked the dogs, came back, saw your post, went to Zero Hedge, tried drilling into articles, ......INFINITELY better. perfect. must have been bad connection or something to ZH's server. The plus out of all of this is that i'm using google chrome on the MAC now. thanks again!
