Website Adblock detection. Ask for removal before viewing media

Some websites I've visited such as 4od (a on demand television service from Channel 4 in the UK) and they detect Adblock and request you remove it before viewing material.
Normally I wouldn't mind, but as my internet speed is running around 0.5 to 1 mps, you could see why loading a 5 minuet advert is annoying, especially since their all different the change and retrieval of the next advert seems to take even longer, whereas the show is one long stream.
Is there anyway to combat this or do I just have to always allow it to be white listed?

Thanks much!!

    Hi Korrin,

This is a known issue. There is unfortunately no workaround at the moment.
