I get the "network failed" error every time I try to download and attach Adbloc or any such extension to Google Chrome. I also have to go to Control Panel /Program Manager and delete a plethora of programmes that keep throwing up unwanted web sites.

How can I make sure all of these programs are deactivated or deleted and successfully download and attach Adbloc or Adbloc plus.
