Which websites are attempting to block AdBlock?

Do they show a warning, or do they stop you from opening the
page?

You asked why they do this - websites need to show ads so that
they can
make money, just like your TV channels. When too many people use
AdBlock,
they lose a lot of the money they get from those ads, so they
resort to
asking or forcing people to unblock their website so that they can
make
money. This is part of the reasoning behind our new YouTube
whitelist
feature. Many YouTube channels are run by just a single person, and
the way
they make their money is entirely through YouTube ads.

Hope this helps, and I look forward to your responses to #1 and
#2.

Kieran
