Hulu TV
I have followed the instructions for disabling adblock using Google Chrome, however, when watching TV episodes on Hulu.com, ads are interspersed throughout. Each time an ad is due to run, a message pops up advising the need to unblock. When I click on the BP icon, it is already disabled. . Solution?

Hi Cheryl,
If you see a button that looks like a stop sign with "ABP" inside, you're using Adblock Plus, not AdBlock. The two projects are entirely unrelated. You can read more about why the names are so similar.
You can reach ABP at adblockplus.org.

Please please, withdraw my question; I see the error is in my misunderstanding.
Thank you!

When watching TV shows on Hulu, I prefer to disable ABP and see the ads rather than a black screen for 1-3 minutes.
I have disabled ABP on Hulu and I still cannot see the ads.
Help.

Hi Cheryl,
We're still AdBlock, not AdBlock Plus (ABP). :)

I am asking how to allow ads to run on Hulu.

Hi Cheryl,
If you'd like to use AdBlock, I'd love to help you. But since you're using ABP, you'll need to contact them for support at http://adblockplus.org. :)

I have both ADBLOCK and adblock plus. Here is the confirmation which led me to you:
Hi Cheryl!
This is Michael Gundlach, the creator of AdBlock. Actually, this is an automatic email sent by a program that I wrote, but I hope you'll read it anyway because I have something important I'd like to say to you.
First, here's your receipt for supporting AdBlock:
Order ID: 1X388240860736616
From: Cheryl Hynes ([email blocked] <mailto:[email blocked]> )
Amount: $10.00
Payment processor: PayPal
Please advise if both should be running simultaneously. This may be the reason I am unable to ‘disable’ on certain sites.
Thanks,
C Hynes

Hi Cheryl,
Ah! So sorry, I didn't pick that up in your earlier posts.
OK, you've disabled ABP, but you're still seeing that warning because AdBlock is still running, yes? You have two options.
To disable AdBlock on that site, click the AdBlock button and select Don't run on pages on this domain, and then click Exclude.
Or, you can follow the instructions in this Knowledge Base article about websites detecting AdBlock, which may help you watch videos without ads.
Please let us know how it goes!
