When I went to download adblcoker I got a warning message that
adbocker can read my browsing history, change data etc...why would
it need to do that if not looking for something? this makes me
susupicious. I jsut want it to block ads, not take over my
computer.

Please read this KB, why you see warning message, when you want to install AdBlock.
