Hi sanshiro,
You can block sections of a webpage using AdBlock's custom filters. There's no way to block the entire site or to redirect a link to another site, as far as I am aware. May I ask why you'd like to do this? There may be another way to do what you're looking for.

Hello there, I use Adblock to avoid distractions at work, I just make a list of websites and block the entire page with the tag ##html, this way I can't go inside Facebook or Twitter in my work hours and be more productive, I really love Adblock versatility and the way I can stop and start the plugins is just magic. Is there any way to hide a section and show some image instead? I can use an image with a cat saying "get back to work right meow" :'3 because #internet

Hi sanshiro,
As a matter of fact, we have a version of AdBlock called CatBlock that does exactly that! It replaces ads or other page elements you choose to hide with pictures of cats (although they don't say "Get back to work right meow," which is awesome!). We no longer maintain it, but you can still download it from our website.
To remove the possibility of being distracted while you work, have you looked into an app specifically designed to do that, such as SelfControl? I have not used SelfControl, but it looks like it will do what you want it to, and it's free. :)

u_u yeah, not working here, no image replacement.
The problem with selfcontrol is the stop, you can’t stop selfcontrol and i’m running a digital marketing company xD so… sometimes i need to go on social media just for work! that’s my problem, i can go on Facebook to look for stats and then my brain just lost on the internet for hours, with adblock i can switch to block website and i love it <3
So, there is no way to use your tag system to replace a section with an image, right?

Hi sanshiro,
Just to confirm I'm understanding what you need:
If that's correct, I'm going to recommend you look into using CatBlock. As I said, we no longer maintain it but it's still available. You can learn more about it on our website.
If this isn't what you're looking for, please let me know and I'll keep digging!

Hi sanshiro,
Is it not replacing ads with cat pictures, not blocking ads at all, or not working in some other way?

Hi sanshiro,
One of our team suggests you try getting CatBlock from http://catblock.tk/. This is a newer version of CatBlock that should work for you. Please let us know if it doesn't!
