Adblocker "attacked"?
I tried watching Colbert's new show on the CBS website, but the player won't run if Adblock is installed. I saw the directions for a workaround, but I don't want to watch it that badly. But I was just curious about something....I watched the stop sign and was shocked to see the ticker running up like mad. Probably 20 ads blocked per second. It basically crashed my Chrome browser and I had to force quit. What is going on when I visit the CBS Colbert website?

Hi Emile,
The counter stops at 19 when I visit the site. Your mileage may vary, depending on which filter lists you have installed and other factors. What's likely happening is that the site keeps trying to download the ads that are being blocked.
Does this happen every time you visit that site?
