Can you please attach a screenshot with the ad(s) clearly marked? Please be sure to capture the entire browser window. If these are ads you can't easily take a screenshot of, can you please provide a link to a page where you seeing them?

They aren't ads. They are videos that auto-play that are on most articles.
Here is one example but they exist on most articles: http://sports.yahoo.com/news/david-price-s--217m-deal-signals-the-start-of-boston-s-bold-dave-dombrowski-era-061859789.html

Ah, auto*play* not auto*pay*! That makes a difference. :)
Please see this article for instructions to disable autoplay in Chrome (as well as Firefox and Internet Explorer). Let us know if this doesn't do what you're looking to do!

Oops, I'm so sorry, I gave you a link to an outdated article! Although that one is only from January 2015, Chrome's updates have already outpaced it.
