AdBlock and Adblock Plus

I downloaded Adblock Plus thinking it was a newer version of AdBlock, but then noticed oddly different version numbers that did not match up. Learned on your website that they are two different products. Will I have any problems if both are downloaded and both are enabled on my iMac?

    Hi Christine,

No worries, we get that all the time. :)

AdBlock and ABP use the same filter lists. We generally advise using just one or the other. It's all right to use more than one ad blocker, but it does put a bit of an additional load on your browser because of the duplicated effort.
