stretch active panel to righrt in yahoo mail

Adblock is quite effective in blocking the ever repeating ads, but at the same time it does NOT stretch the readable center panel to the right resulting in hidden script.. How do I get over this problem? Blocking ads is not enough. It should also increase the reading space.

   Hi Dr. Dharmawansa,

   AdBlock should be removing the white space where blocked ads would normally go. First let's get some basic troubleshooting information. Please click the AdBlock button and select Options, then click SUPPORT. Next to "Have our team requested some debug info?" click here. Paste the text from the box into this discussion.

   Next, try updating your filter lists. Click the AdBlock button and select Options. On the FILTER LISTS tab click update now and then reload your mailbox page. Did that change anything?

   Thank you for your prompt reply. I followed your advice including the Filter list update. It has stretched the panel somewhat but not 100%. Is this the limit that it will go?

   Hi Dr. Dharmawansa,

   Thank you for that information. I see one extension that may have something to do with this Let's try some basic troubleshooting steps, if you don't mind.

   1. First, disable all your filter lists. Uncheck all the lists on the "FILTER LISTS" page, then reload the page where you’re seeing the problem. If the problem goes away, great, we know it's one of the lists that's causing it.
      
   2. Now re-enable the lists one by one, reloading the page where you’re seeing the problem after each list is enabled. (Make sure to wait for AdBlock to fetch the list before reloading the page.) Which list causes the problem to happen again?
      
   3. If unchecking all the filter lists did not fix the problem, try the same thing with your browser extensions: Disable all of them, then re-enable the extensions one by one, reloading the problem page after each. Which extension causes the problem to happen again?

   Let us know how it goes!

   Dear Rhana,

   I followed your advice re Filter List and Browser Extensions. but the problem still remains.
   Please see the attachment just to highlight the hidden text on the right. This is the normal zoom level of 90% which is the default. One can of course read the text if the zooming is reduced. But then that is not the answer is it?

   Hi Dr. Dharmawansa,

   I consulted our developer to find out whether I was missing something. With very rare exceptions, AdBlock doesn't change the formatting of websites, it just blocks and hides things on web pages. The reason we can't reformat a site to remove the empty spaces is that every website is different and can change constantly. Simply put, we can't keep up!

   I'm sorry I don't have a better answer for you. I hope this clarifies things, however.

   Well some of them are unsolvable with all our tech advances nevertheless. So I am complacent to use Ad Block as is. After all it does what it says--- Blocks Ads! what more?
