I believe AdBlock still exist is due to
the fact that few users are using it. Ad revenues are in the
billions, and that is now major companies support themselves.
Removing their source of income could drive them to drastic
measures. I believe sir Michael Gundlach does not need to be
tutored on this subject. As a citizen of the internet, I am
concerned of my own security by being a user of AdBlock. This is
due to your Idea of a campaign of spreading the knowledge of
AdBlock. We would really like some answers, since you have put us
(the ones who control what we are seeing on the web) in the
spotlight for larger corporations to see. What are you (Mr. Michael
Gundlach) trying to accomplish? What should we do when ad-blocking
becomes illegal?(worst case scenario)

Generic Internet Guytag:old-support.getadblock.com,2013-08-06:Comment/284178512013-08-28T14:07:20Z2013-08-28T14:07:20ZAd Campaign

Hi guys,

First, installing AdBlock is on user's choice. We are just
developing this extension but user has always the choice, if he
will block ads on all sites or not.
We implemented this feature called "Don't run on this page" and
"Don't run on pages on this domain" for this situation.

We are looking for option, how both sides can benefit from
this.

Best regards,
