I have done everything as per the instructions but AdBlock, and the ICON, is not showing up anywhere on my Chrome Browser! I can not understand why it isn't being installed on my browser!

    Hi John,

Let's try this. Type about:extensions in the Omnibox. You should see AdBlock in the list of installed extensions. If it's there, be sure to enable it. You should see the AdBlock "white hand inside red stop sign" button in the extensions bar.

If AdBlock is not listed, visit getadblock.com and click the "GET ADBLOCK NOW!" button. After AdBlock is installed, confirm that it's appearing in Chrome's extensions list. Again, you should see the AdBlock button in the extensions bar.

If AdBlock is in the extensions list right after you install it, but is gone again after you restart Chrome, please let us know. There may be another extension that's interfering with AdBlock.

I finally have it installed even though the ICON isn't showing up.

    Thank you,

    John.

    Hi John,

It may be that the AdBlock button is hidden. Please try this:

    1. Type chrome://extensions in the address box.
    2. Find AdBlock in the list and click Show button.

If that button isn't there, it may be that the extensions bar is too short to show the buttons for all the extensions you have installed. Can you please try hovering your cursor over the right side of the address box, just to the right of the star? The cursor should turn into a little vertical bar with an arrow pointing to the right. Try dragging to the left to make the address box shorter and the extensions area wider, and let us know if you see the AdBlock button now.
