Hi
I was starting to get Adverts with a videos played here and there on Youtube, then in the last week, they were with nearly every video, at the start of play and throughout on some. So Looking through the AdBlock Forum, I noticed a suggestion being given by Rhana, the AdBlock Community Manager, to someone with the same problem. Here's what was advised
Click the AdBlock button, Options, CUSTOMIZE tab.
Next to "Manually edit your filters" click Edit.
Paste the following text:
youtube.com##video[src="blob:https%3A//www.youtube.com/eac9235f-3159-4e72-946c-3c22db48290a"]
Click Save.
Try watching your video again. Are the ads still appearing?

I tried that and it worked immediately.

Thank you kindly

    Hi Hass,

Glad that worked for you! However, you may find that it doesn't keep working, because these ads are due to a bug in a recent Chrome update. The only consistently successful workaround we've seen reported is to remove the YouTube app from Chrome:

    1. Type chrome://apps in the Omnibox or click the Apps icon in the Bookmarks Bar.
    2. Right-click the app and select Remove from Chrome.

Please see this Knowledge Base article for details and updates.

If you don't have the YouTube or Pandora app and you're still seeing ads, please feel free to reopen this discussion by replying to this email and we'll be happy to help!

    Hi Rhana,
thank you for the prompt response. Yes, you're right, I've just tried using Youtube (next day) and Adverts were back.
Did what you just suggested and it's Advert free again. Hope that's it for a while:)

    Again, thank you kindly.

    Hi Hass,

My pleasure! Hopefully Google will release an update to Chrome soon that fixes this!
