I upped my payment to keep Adblock going

The Adblock system works very well. This is not a complaint btu a letter of thanks.
As soon as I saw in a news article (Sept 19, 2015) that the App Store was dropping an adblocker, I decided to up my payment to Adblock to keep it alive. Great thanks to Adblock, and thanks for ad-skipping DVR controls on iPods and TV recorders. No one needs intrusive advertising online or on TV because whatever you want, you can find it by actively searching Google or glancing at print ads out of the corner of your eye as you turn the paper page.
45 million people out of the US population of 310 million have turned on adblockers. As more and more ads get ignored, let's see Google test how it would fare if it dropped ads and billed users $10/year. I'd pay that for Google.
One last thought: privacy. How do the admirers of Edward Snowdon and Julian Assange and Tor justify putting up with the invasion of privacy Google and Yahoo practice everyday? Our elected representatives control the National Security Agency; who controls Google's invasion of our privacy?
