AdBlock for YouTube ads

Hey Michael,

Just a suggestion............ it'd be REALLY REALLY cool if you could somehow update AdBlock to also block those annoying pop-up ads that constantly and randomly show up when I'm watching videos on YouTube.

Just sayin'......... that would be a MAJOR selling point to me, cuz it's a hassle when I'm watching and I have to constantly grab my mouse to get rid of those ads. And sometimes they're positioned deep in the corner and you can't even get to the "x" to close them out. I donated when I first got AdBlock but I'd be willing to donate again if you ever did this. Seriously.

   Hi Steve,

   We're glad you're a fan! If you're seeing pop-up ads on YouTube, as opposed to pre-roll ads, you may have malware on your computer. Can you please attach a screenshot with the ad(s) clearly marked? Please be sure to capture the entire browser window.

   Sure thing. See attached. 
   Yeah I'm talking SPECIFICALLY about the ads embedded WITHIN the videos, not any ads off to the side or whatever. The example attached is maybe not the best one but it's about what I'm talking about. I tried to find a better example, but of course when I actually WANT a video with ads in it, I can't find a really great example of one. lol

   Hi Steve,

   When we're testing fixes for YouTube, we sometimes have trouble finding videos with ads too. I know, it's ironic.

   Do you mean the "subscribe to this channel" annotation? I don't see anything else that might be an ad. If that is indeed what you're referring to, then to block annotations by the video's creator, the best you can do is to disable all annotations in your YouTube settings.

   Or are you referring to a pop-up ad that's indicated by a yellow section on the playback bar?

   Yeah, I did mean that, but only b/c I couldn't find an ad with a better example to show you. lol 
   Ok how do I block ALL annotations in YouTube?? I'd rather just do that.
