Acceptable Ads
I have been using this over Adblock Plus exactly because you did
not sell your users out. But now you aren't any better than them.
Big sites get whitelisted and private niche sites like my own get
locked out.
Fortunately I am an Head of IT and work in a large copany with many
customers... I know it will only be a few hundred installs that
will from now on use another - FAIR - adblock. It was nice using
this. From now on, no more donations, payments from us and we won't
be shy to mention this.

Hi Michael,
Our apologies for not getting back to you sooner. We take your feedback to heart, and have been wrestling with how best to respond. We understand your frustration. Truly. We wish we could share the details of the purchase and our participation in the Acceptable Ads program with you. However, the buyer wishes to remain anonymous and we are legally obligated not to reveal their identity, or any other details of the purchase.
We can tell you that our desire to make the web a better place by getting rid of evil advertising has not changed. We still do not, and never will, accept money to show ads that are simply unacceptable. We hope you continue to trust us, but when you get right down to it, it's your call and no one else's, and we think that's pretty much the way it ought to be.
If you have a site, did you know that you can apply to be added to the Acceptable Ads whitelist? It doesn't cost anything. Big companies like Microsoft and Amazon subsidize the application fee for small sites like yours. You can apply at https://adblockplus.org/acceptable-ads#application. And best of luck!
