Content filter/News block

Hi guys! Is it possible to create some sort of filter that works on news articles, not only ads? What I have in mind is a filter that can be customized based upon words in headlines, or maybe the article itself. Something along the lines of the "Kardashian-blocker", an extention that will block news that contain words. Lets say one does not care for football, so you list useful keywords such as "fifa, premier league" and so on to make those articles disappear.
Whaddya think? :)

    Hi Jon,

Thank you for your suggestion! A Kardashian-blocker is a very popular request. Adding the option to filter on keywords would make such an extension even more useful.

I can't promise we'll actually add this to AdBlock, but I'm going to pass it to our team for consideration. :)
