AdBlock for Mobile Browsers

This quote is from an existing thread: "On mobile platforms, AdBlock is currently available only on Firefox for Android. Other major mobile browsers don't support extensions".

It suggests that AdBlock for mobile is the browser developer's domain. If that's the case, come on Google/Betafish, let's have it for iOS's a reason to use Safari in the meantime.

    Hi EJSe,

Thank you for your suggestion! We would love to make a version of AdBlock that runs in Chrome on iOS. However, only Safari provides an API that allows us to block content on iOS devices. Given the source of Google's income is advertising, they're not likely to allow content blocking in Chrome for iOS (or Android, for that matter) anytime soon!
