Why advertise adblock?
Many websites are already requiring people to disable adblock before they let you view their content, if you try to make adblock even popular doesn't that mean more and more websites will start doing this and eventually adblock will become obsolete?

We don't know what the end result will be. If AdBlock becomes more popular, it may encourage sites to try to combat AdBlock. On the other hand, it may encourage them to have less obnoxious ads and then politely request that users whitelist their site.
We are simply trying to let people know that AdBlock is a tool they can use.
