I paid for your extension a while ago. I got to thinking, maybe its out of date. So I looked in Safari at the info, and see its version 2.6.17. Great. But I cannot find any version numbers mentioned on your web site, so downloaded the latest, then tried to get its version number by doing a CMD-I on the file. But no version number.

It would be great to know if I need a new version or not, one way or the other. Thanks.

  1. Safari won't update to the latest version of AdBlock

You may have auto-update of extensions turned off. Turn it on under Safari -> Preferences -> Extensions -> Updates. You can also be sure to update to the latest version by reinstalling from getadblock.com.

This may also be caused by a bug in Safari. Try resetting Safari from Safari -> Reset Safari

For now, you can check the latest version of AdBlock by going to
http://code.getadblock.com and looking at the version number of the most
recent batch of code (it's the name of the zip file).
