Standby Mode
I have an Idea for Standby Mode where adblock stops using pre made filters and only blocks user filters. Ie the ones AdBlock Options > Customize . I want this because i often go to sites that use overlay ads and the pre made filters block the ad with everything else under it. Because its an ad if i change the pre made filter to not block that ad now i have ads. So i have to not use ad blocker when on there's site.
My idea is really simple.
When using "Don't run on this page/domain" and you have the green
thumbs up. In the drop down menu add the button "Block an ad on the
page" then put in options to enable or disable standby mode by
default. If you really want to get user friendly add another button
called "Enable Standby mode" or "Disable Standby mode" depending on
which one there're in. Also do something with the image to make
people know there in standby mode. Like an "S" on the opposite side
of where number of blocked ads are showed and in the same colors
gray and white.

I don't entirely understand the use case you mentioned. Almost all ads
online should get blocked automatically by the filter lists.

What I mean is that some times that list can block more that ads.

You can always report if the list blocks something that isn't an ad, therefore it gets fixed directly in the list itself.
If you disable all filter lists, which one must you re-enable in order to bring the problem back again?

It Changes from site to site. I sorry I cant give you a specific one right now I am unblocking in in "Show resource list" "http://ads.rubiconproject.com/ad/8066.js" for that page. For some reason I can't remove it from the whitelist the page reloads but the whitelisted things are still there no matter how may time I click remove.
I am aware of that there are way to get around this problem. When ever I come across it I always wish there was a way to only block what you want. The reason I suggested this because all the systems are in place. There Is no new system to code

The bug with the resource list is known, and it has been fixed. It
should hopefully ship soon.
If you want to block only what you want, then you can always disable all
filter lists from AdBlock button > Options > Filter Lists. (It is
recommended to leave AdBlock custom enabled, as that ensures that any
filters you take from EasyList (or any of the language lists) work with
AdBlock.
