Django site ad manager that hides from ad blocker. [Hope this is the right place for this]

Found This about 3 hours ago and was wondering if this would really defeat adblock?
As for my suggestion... I suggest that this be counteracted if it has not already tackled.
I'm new here so sorry if I am in the wrong place.
I looked around for contact information and thought I should try the forums first.

Based on the author's description of how it works on reddit, AdBlock will
already block it, as it can detect images and links as needed, and if it
can't block the download, will just hide the ad from view.
