Might I Block Anything?

I think the world would be a better place if you, Oh great guru of blockfulness, could conjure up the means by which I could simply click on the loathed name 'Honey Boo Boo' or "Miley Cyrus' and never see another iota of their wretched existence on the internet. Similarly, perhaps you may grant me the power, Ye Conjurer of Code, that I may right click the word 'twerk', or any such dumbassery, and be rid of it for eternity? I prithee, (not pray, but prithee) consider the ramifications if a majority of the world ceases to communicate on such pithy matters, thereby preventing them from ever becoming consequntial. They may die a slow death from simply being ignored, instead opf achieving critical mass and becoming inescapable. I submit this, my humble suggestion to the internet.

So, basically you want to block anything based on the text inside the bit you want to block, right?

Exactly. For example, I will type, "Jerry Springer" on this very page. All who read within this blog response can simply select the words, right click -much as is available today, engage the all mighty weapon that is AdBlock, and never be offended by the presence of his foul name again. This box, and any container of code that has the poor taste to regurgitate this name, will cease to exist on the internet, at least as I perceive it through my thus personalized experience. On any internet page, ever.

Granted, the ensuing paradox would be that this request itself would disappear.

I'll pass this on to our developers, and if there is enough people wanting this, they may implement it.

To anybody who wants this to be added to AdBlock: please fill in this form.
