---------- i get commentary and ads as i'm using (or not using ) various pages. it's bothersome to have somebody talking from my 'puter's speakers, and i don't know where it's coming from - so i can turn it off . . .

    Hi Big Wayne,

Can you please click the AdBlock button and select Options, then click SUPPORT. Next to "Have our team requested some debug info?" click here and paste the text from the box into this discussion.

Is there any way you can provide a link to some of the pages where this is happening? Or is the problem that you can't tell which pages have the sound?

Also, if you're seeing ads, can you please attach a screenshot with the ad(s) clearly marked?

----------- i only get a box asking for more permissions for you/adblock - or do i not understand your directions ? .. .

--------- i can, but they're not dangerous sites. they're on my local newspaper (SFChronicle ) . they're usually videos that load underneath my cursor.
Or is the problem that you can't tell which pages have the sound?
---------- i can usually scroll back to find which video is running and stop it.

    Hi Wayne,

Hm, that's a little odd. Can you please attach a screenshot that shows what you see when you click (that's LEFT-click, not right-click) the AdBlock button in your browser's extensions bar?

It's OK if the sites aren't dangerous. I'd just like to try to reproduce what you're seeing.
