Counter Limits

The counter is interesting and informative. You may be interested that some users stream from services like radio.com and the counter runs like crazy and overflows the counter number. As an example, in the last 16 minutes, I have logged over 13,000 ads blocked and the counter is showing "1300". I watched it roll over at 9999...

    Hi Jeff,

I tried visiting a few pages on radio.com and couldn't reproduce this. Is there a specific page on which it happens?

That said, when this happens, it's usually either because the website is detecting that the ad wasn't loaded, and tries to load it over and over again (with AdBlock blocking it every time, so technically the count is correct), or it can be caused by malware on the user's computer, which often does the exact same thing.

This counter is actually at 11,100. It took about 4 minutes! There is no problem with your product but there is a serious problem with oppressive ads! Thank you.

Thanks for the clarification! I still wasn't able to reproduce it on my end (perhaps we're not using the same filter lists), but it's always fun to see one of these!
